The Life Chances of Disabled People report sets out the government's aim on improving equality for disabled people
The 'Life Chances' report made recommendations around these central themes:
independent living through initiatives such as individual budgets. Read about

improved support for families with young disabled children.
eliminating service gaps and facilitating transition between childhood and
adulthood.
improved support and incentives for getting and staying in employment.
providing a more strategic focus within government.
Overall, there were 60 recommendations. The three which were prioritised were:
