Our current priorities

During its first year, Equality 2025 divided the areas of work into the following six sub groups:

• Independent living and families.
• Employment and benefits.
• Inclusive early years and education, the need to fully engage with disabled children and young people to improve the transition into adulthood.
• Health.
• Human rights, justice and citizenship.
• Diversity and older people.

Ongoing conversations with disabled people are the key to the success of our work. Disabled people will highlight other areas we need to focus on to improve experiences and life chances.
