Our responsibility to disabled people

What is Equality 2025's responsibility to disabled people?

Equality 2025 will:

  • Do its best to listen to all disabled people and disabled people's organisations.
  • Faithfully communicate disabled peoples' views when it offers advice to government.
  • Celebrate the diversity of disabled people and highlight the multiple barriers to participation that many people face.

Equality 2025 is not a campaigning organisation - that remains the responsibility of activists and campaigners.

Disabled People's Organisations will continue to have opportunities to represent their views. In addition, they can inform Equality 2025 on the views of the disabled people they represent.
